We are delighted to announce that, following a successful audition, Dominic Gilani has been appointed as Organ Scholar at St Joseph's. Dominic is a pupil at St Dominic's Sixth Form College in Harrow and used to attend the Salvatorian College.
He will receive lessons on performance and music theory from Mr Edward Hewes, Organist at Southwark Cathedral (Anglican), and will assist with music at the 11am Solemn Mass at St Joseph's on Sundays.
Please remember Dominic in your prayers as he begins his new role, along with all those at St Joseph's who enhance the liturgy by giving their time and skills.
Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed Afternoon Tea with us, helping to raise an amazing £892! A special thank you to all our helpers for making sandwiches and cakes, for helping to set up and for serving our guests on the day. We also greatly appreciate those who stayed behind and helped with the tidying up at the end of the afternoon. We really couldn't have managed without you!
Take a look at some photos from the afternoon in our Gallery.
