Picture
On behalf of St. Joseph’s Parish and all of us parents, we would like to thank Bishop John Sherrington for having been part of this ceremony, and for his willingness to share his time with us. This is a moment that we will treasure in our life.

We want to thank all of you who are being confirmed tonight. Your commitment to the faith, your sincerity, and your obvious love of the Lord is very inspirational to all of us, and we are deeply grateful to be able to celebrate the Sacrament with you. We know that it took a good deal of your time and energy to prepare properly for the reception of this sacrament and, on behalf of all of us in the Catholic community, we thank you for your commitment to being vibrant and witnessing members of our church.

We also want to thank all sponsors. You play an important role not only in the lives of our children but also in our Church community. You represent all of us as you speak on behalf of those who were confirmed, declaring that they were ready for the sacrament and whom you, as a representative of our community, welcomed with open arms. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our young parishioners.

Many family members participate in the lives of our children seeking confirmation. We thank you for the witness of your faith.

We thank the catechists, Cinderella, Mark, Jane, Maureen, and Joachim; you work so hard to pass on your faith. You not only share your faith with those to be confirmed, but also you share a little bit of who you are, entering into a unique and important relationship with our sons and daughters. Thank you for your leadership and your commitment to passing on our sacred traditions and beliefs.

We also want to thank you the Folk Group for such a beautiful service, your music enlivenedπ our spirits tonight, and that shall be another great memory we will take with us.
